The Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern is a popular way to organize code in web applications, and the Rails framework has become synonymous with this approach. But did you know that you can apply similar principles to a server-side Dart web application?

In this talk, we will explore how to use the MVC pattern in a server-side Dart blog web application, by drawing on the approach used by Rails. We will cover the basics of server-side Dart development, including routing, templating, database access, and authentication. We will also discuss how to how to expose this functionality through REST endpoints to other clients (eg. mobile app).
